November 26th Baseball Pitching Clinic

Clinic Description

Little League through High School Pitchers are invited to learn, refine, and enhance their pitching technique.

​

Guest Instructor, Tyler Schoff, current professional in the Washington National's organization is home for the off-season and running a local clinic with us the Saturday after Thanksgiving.

 

The Clinic will run for 90 minutes per session with a Little League Session followed by a Modified - Varsity session.

​

The Clinic will help Little Leaguers develop their pitching mechanics and skills. It will help modified - high schoolers refine their techniques and learn to throw their current pitches with more sharpness, movement, and speed.

A three-year varsity letter winner for head coach Evan Howard at Rome Free Academy in Central New York … Co-captain as a senior ... Earned All-Mohawk Valley All-Star honors, RFA Scholar-Athlete of the Year honors, First Team All-Tri-Valley honors, Tri-Valley Pitcher of the Year honors junior and senior season, Rome Sports Hall of Fame Male Personality of the Year honors, All-CNY honors and Second Team All-State honors as a senior ... Went 5-2 with a 1.46 ERA, a 1.292 WHIP and 49 strikeouts in 48 innings ... Went 7-1 with 70 strikeouts and a 1.04 ERA in 47 innings for American Legion Smith Post 24 in the summer of 2017 ... Struck out six over 5.0 innings of one-run ball at High Point in first start ... Struck out seven over 6.0 innings vs West Virginia ... Allowed just one hit over 4.0 innings at URI on Mar. 14 ... Struck out six over 5.0 innings of one-run ball ... Struck out eight and didn't walk a batter over 7.0 scoreless at Mount on Mar. 27 ... Struck out nine and allowed just three hits over 7.0 scoreless at Wagner on May 15 ... Tossed one of the most inspired games in program history in winners bracket game of NEC Tournament, allowing just three hits and striking out 10 over 8.0 scoreless ... Named to the NEC Academic Honor Roll.

Signed with Washington Nationals in 2021. Schoff appeared in seven games in his first season of professional baseball. Signed as a free agent following the 2021 season, Schoff went 1-0 with a 2.38 ERA and 11 strikeouts in 11.1 innings. After two dominant outings in rookie ball, Schoff was called up to Fredericksburg and posted a 3.00 ERA in 9.0 innings.

Spent all of 2022 in Low A Fredricksburg. Was out of the bullpen, ranging from closing to long relief. Top 5 in league in appearances. Helped team make playoffs. Went 6-3 with 61 SO in 53.1 innings
